My Journey
It started with my mum's business.
I first discovered web design while building a website for my mum's small business. Watching her face light up when she saw her brand come to life online — that was the moment I knew this is what I wanted to do.
I grew up around London's iconic Notting Hill and Camden Markets, and I saw first-hand how talented people with brilliant products were held back by websites that didn't do them justice, or by not having one at all.
That's why I started By Mai Jaya. I wanted to give small business owners the kind of website you'd expect from a big agency, minus the big agency price tag, with a personal, one-to-one experience built in from the start.
Every small business deserves to look as good online as they are in real life. That's what I'm here to do.
